If These Cemeteries Could Talk

Headstones of graves in one of the 35 known African American Cemeteries in Bulloch County. 37 of these graves were of people born into slavery and known to be buried at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. These 37 individuals were freed with the ending of the Civil War in 1865. Mt. Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Tour Program found here. The Tour took place on February 16, 2019.
