Abstract

In today's lifestream, computers have gained such an un-detachable place that they are, practically, being used in every area of technology and science. In technical drafting. Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) is introduced. Generally, the term CAD refers to the integration of computers into the production process to improve productivity.

The School of Technology has purchased several CAD systems for the students of Technology to use and learn. Students using this system for the first time meet operating problems due to the nature of the specialized equipment. In order to use Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) successfully, it is first necessary for each student to learn the basic concepts of the CAD system.

The reason for this study is to develop an effective basic instructional system for the first time user of Computer Aided Drafting. It is the belief of technology faculty members, that students should initially be exposed to less complicated, but successful experiences to help in understanding the CAD system.
