Abstract
Turnover is not simply a part of doing business. It has a devastating effect on a company's profit line, yet is one of the organization's most controllable expenses ("The Turnover Treadmill", 1997).
This study provides statistical data to determine the reasons sales and service employees leave Orkin Exterminating Company, Inc. In addition, the study provides data showing the average length of employment of those former employees interviewed.
