Abstract or Description
Through the use of a reader's theatre format, volunteers will read and discuss, the thematically arranged citations from the works of Greene and Freire and relevant others. The dialogical nature of the content will hopefully spark further discussion from the roundtable participants as they lend their voices to this "unfinished conversation." This dialogue brings into focus the socio-historical development of imagination, in both creative and critical dimensions. Applications to current educational policies and practices in this era of standardization will be the main objective of the discussion.
