Catalog Description

Course examines operational issues in health care management. Topics include underlying of the U.S health system, systems analysis and continuous quality improvement [Lean Theory]. The goal is to instill an understanding of knowledge of accreditation bodies, professional societies and professional development. The goal is to instill an understanding of the language, applications, limitations with regarding to decision making and problem solving in healthcare organizations.
