Catalog Description
Strategic planning can be defined as “a deliberative, disciplined approach to producing fundamental decisions and actions that shape and guide what an organization (or other entity) is, what it does, and why.” (John M. Bryson, Strategic Planning) This course will examine the concepts, processes, and integration of management information systems, financial, human resource, and marketing plans into an organizational strategic planning system with emphasis on contingency planning as a major context and application.
