Abstract

The title compound, C₁₈H₁₈N₂O₂, crystallizes in the centrosymmetric monoclinic space group C2/c with half the mol­ecule as the asymmetric unit (mol­ecules are located on inversion centers). π–π interactions between the benzene rings are found, with a perpendicular distance of 3.657 (11) Å between ring centroids.
