Abstract
The decision on where to vacation does not take place in a vacuum. Each family member has influence on the number and types of destinations populating the household's consideration set. This study will examine family structure using the Circumplex Model and FACES IV an instrument used extensively by family therapist to identify healthy family structures. The type of structure present in the family will determine the number of alternatives evaluated during the decision process.
