Abstract

Each year, the Georgia Southern University Eagle Battalion Cadets who are graduating in the Spring challenge the Cadre to a grudge match of sorts. In previous years, the sport of choice has been volleyball -- with Cadre going undefeated for the last eight years.

In Spring 2016, the sport was changed to kickball. With 28 soon-to-be Lieutenants and a banged up group of Cadre (several recent surgeries and injuries) some restrictions were made. Cadets wore vests and carried kettlebells to help even the playing field.

Once again, Team Cadre was victorious, taking the Spring 2016 game 10-6.
