Abstract

EDC 2020: Eagle-ROAR (Remotely Operated Aerial Reconnaissance) is a novel engineering design competition that engages high school students using unmanned aerial vehicles (drones). The competition is inspired by the broad popularity of terrestrial drones and NASA’s Mars 2020 Rover Mission, which will include an autonomous helicopter (drone).
