Abstract

Can it be a Sin to Know? is a retelling of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. The play explores Victor Frankenstein as a man struggling with his asexuality. His creation is made as beautiful, an object for desire. The work explores theories about bodies, gender, religious sexuality, queer subjectivity, and what can happen when given the chance to confront one’s maker.
