Author #1

This session will present an introduction to rural Georgia and the partnering role that the Georgia Rural Health Innovation Center serves in supporting rural Georgia communities. Through numerous collaborations with rural organizations and health care providers, the Center builds programs specifically designed according to the needs of rural Georgia communities for the purpose of addressing health challenges and disparities. Following data collection and community-based research, the best outcomes are from programs where we come alongside the community and help them do the work to improve where they live, work, worship, and raise their families.
