Reclaiming American Healthcare: Medicare for All
Abstract
American healthcare is in crisis -- we spend much more per person than other countries and yet have inconsistent access to care and unimpressive health outcomes. One possible foundation of a robust solution -- Medicare -- has already been built and has a long history of success. There are a handful of important ways that Medicare should be improved, and it could then be provided to every American, improving our nation's health while reducing what the nation spends on healthcare today.
