Presentation Abstract
This presentation will chronicle the steps taken to establish a My Brother's Keeper Alliance in Burke County, Georgia to address the rising incarceration, murder and accidental deaths of males under the age of 25 years.
Burke County Public School Superintendent initiated a Community-wide Roundtable discussion to start a dialogue with local, state, national community stakeholders from the judicial, law enforcement, religious, and educational arena to Save our Sons = S.O.S.
The objective is to encourage other communities to take a stand and until to prepare all young men to become productive citizens and lifelong learners
