The FBA-BIP Process: Twelve Steps is All it Takes
Presentation Abstract
We will explain how to complete a Functional Behavior Assessment and Behavior Intervention Plan (FBA-BIP) in twelve (12) steps. Adopting and following these steps can help create a more standardized FBA-BIP process within your districts and assist with getting staff on the same page about how the process should look and what their roles and responsibilities are on the team. Most importantly this process can help the FBA run smoothly and create more effective BIPs for your students. FBA and BIP forms and various data collection sheets will be reviewed with participants and shared, if requested.
