Short Description
During this workshop, presenters will show that proactive plagiarism prevention is the best plagiarism deterrent. Participants will learn about the main causes of plagiarism, such as improper paraphrasing and incorrect citations, and how to investigate plagiarism cases. Through activities, participants will be able to practice recognizing a plagiarized paper and how to utilize Google and citation checking to detect plagiarism. Participants are asked to bring laptops or tablets for the workshop activities when possible.
