Brief Program Description
This session will highlight the new Summit initiative. SUMMIT at Agnes Scott reinvents a liberal arts education for the 21st century by preparing every student to be an effective change agent in a global society. Many colleges focus on global learning or on leadership development; SUMMIT does both. The Leadership Development curriculum at Agnes Scott College educates students to lead honorably. The Global Learning Curriculum allows students to recognize how global issues affect their personal lives and communities, encouraging them to reflect on local and global interconnections.
