Summary
Poetry is much more than expressions of beauty or anger; it can be a powerful vehicle for mapping our social environment and making compelling calls for change. In this session, we will learn about ways in which poetry can be used to confront social and political issues. We will also use writing exercises to help us explore our interior lives and connect them to macro-level social issues.
