The Georgia Southern Magnolia String Quartet (MSQ) is the premier string ensemble and musical ambassador of Georgia Southern University. The MSQ actively performs on campus and throughout the Southeast Coastal region. Participation in the group is based on an audition and the group members receive a prestigious scholarship award. Over the years, this group has participated in festivals and competitions, winning and representing the State of Georgia in the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Regional Competition in the Chamber Music category.
