The authors will demonstrate how to use handmade scientific equipment to sample a local area. Participants will learn how to set up a transect in different habitats, collect data, then compare, and contrast species diversity, and employ a variety of ways in which to display the data in their classroom. This session is for teachers of all grade levels.
