Abstract
Instructions for writing assignments and peer review are sometimes rendered ineffective due to misinterpretation on the students’ part. The presenters share practical suggestions on making instructions more effective, based on results of their studies examining the effects of metacognition on instruction interpretation, and factors influencing decision-making during peer review.
