Abstract
During the Covid-19 pandemic, faculty office hours morphed into a virtual setting for student-instructor interaction. With the current familiarity of office hours being offered on a digital platform, the authors explore the necessity and practicality of in-person office hours. The authors from various disciplines (English, Psychology, and Physiology), will also examine the effectiveness of in-person and virtual office hours from the student perspective, as well as the students’ understanding of how to utilize those resources in the associated discipline. Student perspectives will be provided on office hours during and after the COVID-19 pandemic with an emphasis on virtual modality.
