Abstract
One of the most difficult aspects of SoTL planning centers on selecting the optimal data source – or sources -- for a given project. It is critical that researchers think through all options available to ensure that the richest data that can be collected is, in fact, collected for analysis. In this session, participants will discuss benefits and challenges to using a wide variety of data sources for their SoTL research. Implications for analysis of these data types will be presented, as well. Parting gifts in the form of content summaries from the presentation will be provided for all participants.
