Brief Program Description
After two years of uncertainty, school closures, illness and many deaths brought on by the pandemic, schools are now faced with supporting students and staff impacted by trauma, depression, and other mental health concerns, which are showing up as inappropriate behaviors. This breakout sessions will offer an overview of a system to ensure the mental health needs of students are identified and supported. Leaders in education will gain an understanding on what to consider when developing a sustainable mental health system within a school site and throughout a district.
