Abstract
Flipping the FL classroom is not a new idea but for some FL educators is a complicated one. This session review some of the elements that need to be present for a successful practice. In addition, it will define the term, reviewing some best practices along with everyday challenges we are constantly facing by using this method. Finally, it will identify the skills that are involved and the ways we are preparing the 21st-century students.
Brief Bio Note
Fernando Palacios is an Associate Professor and Chair at the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at Mercer University in Georgia.
His research interest includes, Second Language Acquisition, Study Abroad, Foreign Language Pedagogy, Spanish for Specific Purposes, and Spanish to English Translation.
