Abstract
Desde su primera novela Arrancema la vida, Angeles Mastretta ha mostrado su discurso feminista como parte esencial de sus obras. En este trabajo se presenta la forma en que la autora entra en contacto directamente con el movimiento feminista mexicano.

Carlos M. Coria-Sanchez is an Associate Professor at UNC Charlotte where he teaches Latin American Literature as well as Spanish for the Professions.
