Presentation Title

Lesson Planning with PEACH

Primary Presenter Brief Bio

APD Best Practices Training Initiative at Georgia State University

Jennifer began in early childhood education twenty years ago in a Georgia’s PreK classroom before serving briefly as the director of a PreK center. The bulk of her experience was as an Education Specialist with a large, private provider that served children birth through five. In that role, she worked directly with teachers and administrators on quality improvement and provided direct training and technical assistance to teachers at the classroom and program level.

Second Presenter Brief Bio

Assistant Project Director Georgia State University

Renee Gudermuth was drawn to BP by its commitment to ensure teachers receive proper preparation to create classrooms that encourage and engage children with powerful interactions in positive environments. With a degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University, Renee has been in the early childhood field for 16 years, holding multiple positions including teacher, center director, curriculum developer, and trainer. Additionally, she has focused on helping programs improve quality through accreditation.
