Abstract
The purpose of this breakout session is to examine the regional context of HIV and opioids from a social justice perspective. We will use Malcom Gladwell’s framework of “tipping points” to understand the evolution of these epidemics and discuss the effect of the current political climate on community-level harm reduction strategies.
