Relevance And Significance
Health data on LGBT individuals is scant. Where there are scholarly studies, there has been an emphasis on HIV, HPV, and substance use among LGBT populations. This broadly focused community health survey data provides a wider context for understanding LGBT health in a predominately rural state.
