Web-based 3D Smog Visualization for Air Pollution Analysis
Poster 206
Data visualization is a powerful tool for discovering relationships in data. Air quality data is one domain where data visualization is important due the features being highly noisy [4]. In air pollution data communication schemes, there is lack of risk perception in how the data is portrayed [6]. The aim of this research is the implementation of a web-based, nonproprietary system for better 3-dimensional (3D) air quality visualization over Joshua Tree National Park.
