Background
This project is 1 out of 4 sub-projects currently in development for the Briggs & Stratton Hybrid Engine. The engine is set up on a test bed in the Engines Lab, where the end goal is to develop a successful parallel hybrid engine. The system is to be equipped with an electronic throttle control that can replace the manual cable control that was previously implemented. An electronic control will allow for more accurate data acquisition during testing, since the desired throttle angle can be controlled automatically.
