First Presenter's Brief Biography
Growing up with a single mother who cleaned houses and buildings for some of the most wealthy and elite people in Seattle, WA, I was CHISELED to have a strong work ethic, pursue big dreams, and help others. My childhood had many challenges, but I was taught to NEVER GIVE UP! One night, my life was rocked when my uncle murdered my aunt and cousin in a domestic violence dispute. Our close-knit family was devastated. I vowed to do something in their honor when I became an adult. In 2007, I opened the I AM Defense Institute against my profound disinterest in working with youth. I AM Defense shows women and children how to protect themselves from attackers. Since then, I have committed my life to the personal development of youth. Who am I? -Publisher of "You Can Have It ALL!" Kids’ Motivational & Entertainment Magazine. It is the fastest-growing motivational magazine for kids in the world. -The creator of Camp Warrior King, which for 10 years and counting has helped thousands of youth gain exposure to Amazingly-fun activities. -Founder of "You Can Have IT ALL!" Youth conferences. This conference held its first international event in Uganda, East Africa where we also opened the first YCHIA Orphanage. -Developer of Team HoTT SAWCE. THS are cartoon characters that teach children to believe in themselves using fundamental personal development principles. -Innovator of the Team HoTT SAWCE Success Stacks. The Stacks are words and phrases kids should learn to increase their self-efficacy. -Author of three books: Persevere Overcome Win, Raising Extraordinary Kids, and Be Unstoppable Living Life. A portion of all proceeds from my businesses maintains the "You Can Have IT All!" orphanage in Bombo, Uganda, where we currently support over 30 children with shelter, food, and school supplies.

Relevance
The Confidence Castle ™ Relates to the Academic Achievement and Leadership strand because the Five basic steps can be used to encourage children to perform better academically. Many children do not act simply because they don’t believe their efforts will bring a desired result. The truth is that action creates results that can be adjusted until they meet the desired outcome. Achievement starts with action. Firm leaders must be confident in their ability to lead a group but also confident in being able to make a mistake, learn from it, and keep their confidence to lead again. My system instructs parents/educators how to teach resiliency concepts in a way children can understand.
Children dealing with Mental and Physical health challenges is big deals inside and outside the classroom. Youth suffering from Suicide, Depression, Anxiety, and Obesity are being impacted at higher levels than we’ve seen in recent years. The Confidence Castle ™ Relates to the Mental and Physical Health Strand because my system can improve a child’s mental or physical health position when used correctly. Through over 20 years of working with children, I have proven that when children take action toward a goal they believe is worthy, it improves their mental and physical state, leading to a healthier lifestyle.

Summary
Practical models are crucial in the evolving landscape of child education and well-being. These models not only guide the learning experience but also shape the future leaders of tomorrow. Introducing "The Confidence Rocket™," an innovative system meticulously designed to bolster academic achievement and leadership through five actionable steps.
A common hindrance to children's progress is their lack of belief in achieving desired outcomes. This lack of confidence often stems from a fear of failure or the assumption that their efforts might be in vain. However, "The Confidence Castle™" operates on a foundational truth: taking action produces results, which can be fine-tuned until they align with the desired goals. It’s imperative to understand that the journey to achievement is initiated with a single step. Emphasizing this, the model nurtures young minds to become robust leaders, confident in their decisions, and resilient enough to embrace mistakes, learn from them, and rise with renewed vigor.
The contemporary challenges faced by children aren't just confined to academics. Mental and physical health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and obesity, have seen an alarming rise. Addressing these pressing concerns, "The Confidence Castle™" extends its applicability to Mental and Physical Health. A culmination of over two decades of experience has shown that when children actively pursue a valuable goal, it significantly enhances their mental and physical well-being, guiding them toward a healthier lifestyle.
But how does one translate this model into everyday situations? "The Confidence Castle™" has been distilled into five practical steps that educators and parents can seamlessly integrate into various scenarios, from academic pursuits like improving exam scores to life skills like swimming. The strength of this system lies in its simplicity, making it effortlessly teachable and learnable.
In conclusion, participants of this presentation will be equipped with a practical, real-world tool. They will walk away with a clear understanding of these five steps, ready to implement them immediately, ensuring children excel academically and grow holistically, prepared to face the world's challenges with confidence and resilience.
