Brief Program Description
We will provide the background on a comprehensive life-skills program for unstably housed youth in 2 target communities in KY. The majority of program youth are minorities. Finding a way to engage, encourage, and empower minority youth is one of many keys to their personal success and the success of many minority youth focused programs. We have had the honor to serve minority youth in our community, providing them with life changing life skills and leadership development. We will share information about the Uplift program and share the process we have used to locate partners and participants. This session will consist of interactive activities to engage youth.
