Summary
This presentation will expose the hidden impact that grief and loss have on youth, specifically in rural communities. Issues include at-risk behaviors, trauma, mental health issues, issues of low self-concept, and more.
The presentation will also highlight the inequities in the availability of comprehensive service delivery networks for this population. Participants will be provided with best-practice interventions through the lens of a trauma-informed approach and stakeholder collaboration.
