“Black Girl Magic” is a popular phrase that celebrates the beauty, power, and resiliency of black womanhood. Just like magic, black girls are ofen misunderstood and feared. Through implicit biases, stereotypes, and discrimination, many black girls are unable to tap into their full potential. As change agents, it is our responsibility to break barriers and build therapeutic relationships to tap into black girl magic!

Biographical Sketch
Phylicia Anderson is the Lead Change Agent of P. Anderson Consulting, District Behavior Interventionist with the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Savannah, Georgia area. Phylicia has widespread experience in mental health services, therapeutic relationship building, special education, conflict management, deescalation skills, cultural and diversity awareness, behavior and classroom management, family services, case management, public speaking, youth at-risk, foster care, student outreach, individual and group counseling, and advocacy. Phylicia has shared her expertise in various schools, workshops and conferences through presentations, workshops, training and consultations. Her applicable approach is known to be engaging, authentic and interactive.
