Abstract

Diversity is a buzz word that is popping up everywhere given the current U.S. climate. There is a lot of lip service given to the term in professional settings. There have been many presentations on Diversity and Culturally Responsive/Sustaining practice, however many continue to focus on what Diversity is rather than how to do it. Not many focus on exactly how to engage in CRP/CSP practices. This will be an experiential session merging research with practice. Be prepared to be vulnerable with one another as we actively engage in the process of challenging personal bias.
