This presentation explores the development of learner profiles to create culturally and linguistically sustaining instruction by centering students' strengths and funds of knowledge. Grounded in neuroscience and equity-driven pedagogy, it demonstrates how data-informed teaching fosters engagement, inclusivity, and deeper learning by integrating students’ cultural, familial, and community-based knowledge into instruction.
