April Newkirk has been in education for almost 20 years working with students and adult learners of all abilities. She is currently working in local school districts as a consultant Her work is focused on new teacher induction and co-teaching.

Dyslexia is not a disability, but a learning difference. In this session, participants will learn more about how dyslexia impacts learning and strategies to engage all learners. Strategies will be focused on multisensory learning and creating a culture of acceptance and understanding.
