Presentation Abstract
This presentation will discuss the "why?"' behind the need for educational environments that are nervous system-focused and brain-based. This session is rooted in the principles that behavior is communication and safe, positive, attuned relationships are the antidote! We will dive into the keys to bringing emotional stability in the classroom through regulation and co-regulation. Early adversity and stress can re-wire a child's brain and nervous system leading to BIG BEHAVIORS and lagging skills, but we can re-wire those patterns and reactions so that students can thrive and educators can avoid burnout. This session will build resilience in both educators and students!
