How PBIS works in Elementary and Middle Schools!
Presentation Abstract
Our presentation is an overview of how we use PBIS in our Floyd County Schools system. Our district PBIS coordinators, Becky McCoy & Jennifer Scoggins, would start off the presentation by giving some background information about Floyd County Schools, the years of PBIS implementation, the total number of schools, etc. Then Jordan Catron, Pepperell Middle Schools PBIS coach, would present the work she and her team has done at PMS with students. This includes Tier I and Tier II implementations.
Conference Program Description
Implementation in middle school can present challenges. Session attendees will gain ideas and strategies to successfully implement Tier 1 and Tier 2 level supports.
