Emily Graybill’s research interests include delivery of training and technical assistance to schools and community agencies related to individualized positive behavior support and evaluation of the implementation and sustainability of educational initiatives for underserved populations, including young people with disabilities. Her work focuses on supporting schools to build an infrastructure for universal mental health screening. Graybill is an internal program evaluator and a course director for the Georgia Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Program at Georgia State. She is the associate director of the Center for Leadership in Disability in the School of Public Health.
Presentation Abstract
Students with challenging behaviors often have underlying, and sometimes overlooked, mental health concerns. Through this session, participants will learn how to identify and support students with mental health concerns.
