Presentation Abstract
Linking PBIS to the School-Parent Compact will provide a means for participants to link learning with a positive school culture. By utilizing the PBIS matrix, which is common to all students, roles and responsibilities are extended beyond the school. Our Title I School-Compact takes the PBIS expectations for students and extends them into expectations for the school and parents for the purpose of increasing student achievement. This allows everyone to be uniform and demonstrates how everyone can show their dedication to student learning and a positive school culture. The School-Parent Compact builds parent capacity while increasing parent involvement and student achievement.
