How To Use A Behavior Monitoring System To Build Self-Efficacy?
Presentation Abstract
In this session we will explore how building self awareness and metacognition in students leads to greater motivation and understanding about how to change. We will examine a case study and have participants walk in the students' shoes as they see, from the inside out, how to develop this effective positive behavior intervention. Participants will leave with malleable tools they can use and easily modify to fit into their practices. We ask all session attendees to think about a student in their classrooms who can benefit from this practice so they can return to their classrooms, ready to implement this intervention.
