Taking a Deep Breath - Promoting Self-Regulation
Presentation Abstract
This session explores Tier 2 of the Pyramid Model, Targeting Social Emotional Supports, specifically self-regulation. Participants will learn strategies to help children learn about their feelings and coping skills. This training has numerous ideas about how to help children find solutions to problems that may arise during their day at home, in the early childhood environment, or in the community. Participants in this session will create their own resource to use as they work with young children to regulate their emotions in various environments.
