PBIS Planning Tool for Infants and Preschoolers
Presentation Abstract
Come see what the PBIS Pyramid Model looks like for children birth to five years old! This session will focus on reviewing the basics of behavior and introduce participants to the Brief Behavior Questionnaire and Intervention Plan (BBQuIP). The BBQuIP allows parents, birth to five educators, and community providers to identify the child's behaviors of concern, the behavior triggers, and the ways in which the adults' responses to the child's behavior may be contributing to the behavior. This planning tool will also guide participants through a process of selecting function-based prevention strategies and replacement behaviors.
