Taking a Proactive Approach to PBIS
Presentation Abstract
PBIS is a proactive approach instead of a reactive process at GCCS. PBIS is the way for us to create the school culture that we all desire. The quote “A goal without a plan is just a wish.” guides our beliefs about PBIS implementation. This process of implementation from for staff development, funding, and administrative support will be described. School wide approaches to establishing expectations and the teaching of those behaviors and consequences will be explained. Decision making process in relation to data will also be discussed.
