Alienating Parents in Two Minutes or Less: Parent Conferencing Strategies
Presentation Abstract
We work so hard to get parents/guardians to the classroom door and then we unintentionally alienate them in the first two minutes! Join us as we discuss strategies for building relationships with these critical stakeholders. Emphasis will be placed on practices that can be completed before the school year begins. during the initial days of the term, as well as ongoing practices all the way to day 180 in order to ensure success. Build bridges by increasing effective communication and reading your audience. Get them on your side and keep them there!
