Building an Effective District Leadership Team for Sustainability
Presentation Abstract
A strong and supportive PBIS district leadership team is critical for sustainable PBIS implementation and expansion in schools. This presentation will focus on the who, what, when, where and why around the work of the DLT. Who should be on the team and how might that change over time, what work should the DLT consider for initial roll out and sustainability, when/how often should the team meet and what products should be generated by the work, and why is the work so important for sustainability and ultimately going to scale in a district. Districts often struggle to build strong teams that sustain and advance PBIS. This presentation will cover the nuts and bolts of a well functioning PBIS district leadership team.
