How to Educate Student’s With Difficult Behaviors
The field of education is filled with rewarding and fulfilling moments. Then, you have those moments where you want to pull out your hair!! In a classroom with 30 plus students with varied backgrounds, learning styles, temperaments, etc., you are still expected to educate everyone regardless of behavioral outbursts. So, how do you do it all?
This workshop is designed to assist educators with understanding how to manage difficult behaviors in the classroom. Participants will learn the following objectives:
- Define tolerance and caring
- Understand the difference between being tolerant and showing care
- Understand some of the causes of problem behaviors
- Understand methods and best practices to diffuse situations.
- Have practical examples of how to handle difficult behaviors
Workshop participants will be informed of ways to manage difficult behaviors in the classroom in an interactive manner. Participants will leave the session with new perspectives regarding students who present problems behaviors, as well as new strategies to incorporate into their classrooms.
