Presentation Abstract
This training dives deeper into the second layer in Tier 1 of the Pyramid Model framework, High Quality Supportive Environments: Classroom Rules and Expectations. Learn more about the differences between rules and expectations within a classroom. During this training participants will uncover strategies for developing and teaching expectations, as well as rules that support children's social emotional competence and promote engagement. From developing expectations that identify what is expected to teaching the rules within the expectation, this module offers strategies that can support every early learning professional. This training also offers strategies for giving positive feedback to children as they move throughout their day.
